I am writing this article while in London at the Customer Contact Expo. This is one of the biggest customer service conferences and trade shows in Europe, and it takes place every year at Olympia, alongside several other marketing conferences.
I have already discovered several amazing and innovative new developments in the world of customer service and customer experience. These include new technologies related to neuro-marketing, automation, analytics, and data management. I will be reporting back about the event on this website in October.
Next week I am taking a well-earned break to celebrate my birthday in beautiful Lisbon - one of my favourite cities in the world. As soon as I get back to the office, I will be launching several really exciting new initiatives including some innovative customer service and customer loyalty training programmes.
The Customer Service Blog was only launched earlier this year, and we have already amassed a readership of over 14,000 people, both in the UK and worldwide. The number is growing exponentially as more-and-more people find out about this site.
