Lao Tzu was an ancient Chinese
philosopher and writer. He is reputed to be the author of the Tao Te Ching and the founder of Taoism (pronounced 'dowism') a philosophy that emphasises doing what is natural and 'going with the flow' in accordance with the Tao (which is translated as the 'way') a cosmic force which flows through all things on earth.
